ROSE - Road Orphans Sea Extremis

We started out as a bunch of Commercial Divers (Underwater Welders) and Boat Captains who worked fixing pipelines in the Gulf of Mexico. Homa, Shriver, and Lafayette Louisiana to be exact. We choose to keep this identity by keeping a part of love of the Sea and being on the water through ROSE. Back then we were Road Orphans the Punk/Funk/Metal/and Ska band.

The tragic loss of our drummer Tyler Young in 2011 turned album art into a patch and that’s where Road Orphans the club started. We are a living memorial to our Brothers and Sisters gone but never forgotten.

This is why ROSE has a very special place in the heart of our club. the “E” in the name ROSE has meaning: IN Extremis is a Latin phrase meaning "in the farthest reaches" or "at the point of death." both meanings are exactly what we did for a living. Road a crew boat out sometimes hundreds of miles away from land to dive down to the far reaches putting our lives on the line every time we went to work. We trusted our brothers and sisters on the surface to keep us alive until we all got to go home again. This is the definition Comradery and everything Road Orphans stands for.
